Please note that I am not author of following information  related to above subject /title and I am reproducing for the sake of social awareness only.

We hear news about missing children quite frequently.

Where do they go?

Trafficking is one of the biggest trade & third largest profitable industry in the world today after drug peddling and sale of arms.

Why children are abducted?
The biggest reasons are;
• Child abuse & sexual exploitation
• Used as light weight camel jockeys in Arabic nations
• Organ trade and harvesting
• Ransom, as Indian economy booms so does rise in child abduction
• A case of Cannibalism has also been reported
• Human sacrifice to please gods
• Used as forced labor, domestic servants, work in factories
• Used as beggars by gangs after mutilations of hands & legs
• Child trafficking to international borders
• Forced into child marriages
• Illegal adoption
• Medical trials; yes it does happen
• Shipped and used as child soldiers in war prone countries to fight.

Child Safety Tips against abduction
• Always keep an eye on your children
• Tell your children not to wander off
• Instruct them not to talk to strangers
• Background verify home maids, auto / van drivers who commute your kid to school
• Make sure your child knows your name, address and contact number
• Do not make them wear provocative clothing that may appear attractive to older men
• If you are on Indian Railways, make sure you don’t completely dos off. Many children are kidnapped while both parents are sleeping.
• Instruct to ‘yell’ when the kid thinks that they are abducted.

To make this world a secured place for all children, need you to be ‘Alert & Aware’.

Please share this information with your near dear ones and relatives for more awareness.
